Coverage
State
State sources are watched, not scraped. Each registered source is fetched on a schedule and checked for change; what the watcher reports is a change, with a citation, not a summary.
Coverage is 19 states, not fifty. AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MO, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA. Naming them is the point — a coverage claim that does not list its jurisdictions cannot be checked.
These count sources under watch — fetched on a schedule and checked for change. More state sources than this are registered as candidates from research; most of the remainder cannot be read without a browser session or a login, and are not counted here because nothing is being fetched from them.
What this tier does and does not include
State sources are monitored for change. They are not yet parsed into the searchable corpus — the counts above are sources under watch, not solicitations on file. When a watched page changes, you get the change and a link to the source. Searchable state records are not part of this tier today, and this page will say so until they are.
Across every tier, 12,775 records are open for response right now.
Every figure on this page is queried when the page loads. Where a query fails the figure is omitted rather than replaced with something plausible. See pricing.
